We meet at the UUCA Church, 4444 Arlington Boulevard (corner of Route 50 and George Mason Drive).
We celebrate Ritual the third Sunday of every month. Ritual begins at 1:00 PM and is followed by potluck and fellowship.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 12:45 PM and to check the easel at the inside stairs to determine in which room we will be meeting.

NoVa Pagan Pride Day
Will be held in Lee District Park on Sunday, September 7. MoonFire will participate with Janet Farrar in conducting the opening ritual. See the calendar for details.
Mithras Ritual!
Our next third Sunday ritual will be devoted to the God Mithra. Mithra was a sky/sun God of the late Romans and is related to deities from Asia Minor and Iran. He was mostly worshiped by the Roman soldiers, and some say that if his religion had incorporated women, all the Christians today would be Mithrans. Come and encounter the ancient and dynamic religion that almost beat Christianity to become the main religion of the Roman empire. Come think about the questions that Mithraism raises: What is the relation between monotheism and Paganism? What does initiation mean for eclectic Pagans? And many more. This should be a very interesting ritual. You don't want to miss it. For details on the ritual, see the Calendar page!
MoonFIre Family Campout
We will have our bi-annual campout the 12th through the 13th at Little Bennett State park in Clarksville, Maryland. The event starts at 4PM Friday with camping, and on Saturday we'll be doing crafts, nature walks, and a wiccaning. We will also be doing an improv ritual and bonfire on Saturday night. RSVP's required if you are not a MoonFire member.
